French Pinot Noirs vs. Oregon Pinot Noirs

The Oregonians won!

Fun was had by all and Rich and Georgia were of course, wonderful hosts!

"Belle Vallee" 2005 Reserve Pinot Noir was the overall winner. The Oregonians fared better than their French counterpart, as expected, with more fruit forward complexity. Remember, of course, that those wines were tasted with little food to avoid altering the flavors of the wine.

Join us again real soon for another dual featuring American Cabernets versus Australian Cabernets! DATE TO BE DETERMINED...
